Today’s prompt is
What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?
I do wonder how interesting it is to live for 100 years and how people saw the world evolve around them.
I was born in ’81 what would my 100 years involve Walkmans, VHS and DVDs, computers and game consoles, the evaluation of the mobile phone coffee shops, billionaires, the rise and fall of social media and yes I could go on it’s actually weird when you think about how much has gone over the last 43 to 44 years.
Would I want to go back to those years? Well, not really. It’s easy to say how much life was easier, but it’s hard to think what we would do without things like the internet or our mobile phones, and it’s crazy to see how they have evolved since the mid-90s. The first phone I had was one of those Nokia where you could change the way they looked, and now I have an Honor 90 Pro and am writing this blog on it.
But to live a long life? If it happens it happens. I’d rather just live day by day and not worry about it too much because sometimes life can be cut short.
Count each day as blessing.
